The Hunt - The Perfect Boho Dress
With spring here and summer right around the corner there is nothing better than throwing on a dress and a pair of flats and heading out the door.
Ive always loved the look of a boho dress but couldn’t find the right one. So in preparation for buying one this year, I’ve put together a list of brands I’ve found from the expensive to the less budget breaking styles! All brands are linked just click on the picture to shop!
First up you can’t go past Spell! They are more on the expensive side but the prints and quality are second to none. Run out of Byron Bay this home grown brand is coveted by locals and internationals alike.
Next we have Jaase. These guys are a bit more budget friendly and can be found in a number of boutiques and online. Head to their site to find a stockist near you!
Next is another one of my personal favs - Renee Loves Frances- which sits somewhere between Jaase and Spell price wise. They also have a great collaboration with Aussie icon Kasey Chambers!
A new discovery for me is Indian Summer Co which pulls their print inspiration from vintage pieces. These guys are up there with Spell for price but those prints are to die for and their prices can be worn all year round. Just add a jacket and boots!
A long time fav of mine- Auguste The Label is a beautiful brand and their pieces will last you for many summers! It’s always a good idea to invest in a high quality dress if you plan on wearing it summer after summer, and the good thing is their prints and styles don’t age.
Mahli is a completely new brand for me and I’m in love! Their stock sells out fast so you have to be quick! I’m eyeing of the maxi version of the dress below, I’m hoping it will come back in stock!! The colours are a lot bolder than this picture but I don’t mind at all…
This last brand isn’t technically “bohemian” but it’s such a beautiful label I couldn’t not add it to the list! Mister Zimi not only has the most stunning prints, they bring out each print in multiple styles! So there is always something for every shape.
If you’re still looking and none of these rock your boat head to Gingham and Heels, Petal & Pup or Get Frocked for more options. These sights are great for having lots of different options including styles for pregnant mumma’s!
If you’re looking ways to style your dress pair it with sneakers or sandles and a denim jacket for a low key day look and for nights out add heels or ankle boots with a leather jacket and away you go! Hopefully you’ve found something you love! I know I have my eye on quite a few of these pieces!
